What we frame

What collectors
bring us.

Limited editions, signed prints and originals on paper, from people who care how the work ages. Here's how we look after them.

Glass

UV and museum glass

Conservation glass filters 99% of UV light. Museum glass also cuts reflections, which helps with dark works and bright rooms.

Mounts

Conservation and museum mounts

Acid-free or cotton rag board, cut to the border width you want.

Hand finished

Frames finished by hand

Stained, painted or gilded, including any Farrow & Ball colour and walnut veneer.

Reframing

Reframing

Mount gone yellow, or the glass broken? We keep what's still good and replace the rest.

“The owner helped me come up with frames for all of them, and really took the time to guide me through every decision. Pricing was fantastic — he came up with a way for framing the inexpensive items on a lower budget, but they still look great alongside the fine art pieces.”

“Nine posters framed for permanent display at a nearby business. All nine completed to an incredible standard. Aijaz advised on what would work best for each poster and the setting it would be in.”

questions.

We hinge it with conservation tape that can be removed, use acid-free board and seal the back against dust. Nothing is glued to the work.

For originals and editions, conservation glass, which filters 99% of UV. If the room is bright or the work is dark, museum or anti-reflective glass is worth the extra.

Put the size into the quote tool for the frame, mount and glass. Hand finishing depends on the moulding and colour, so we price it once we've seen the work. You get the full price before we start.

Usually. Bring a photo or the frame itself and we'll find the closest moulding, or finish one by hand to match.
